Terms and conditions

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tandem website and platform operated by InsideData Ltd (company number 07776362), registered in England and Wales.

By accessing or using Tandem, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

About the service

Tandem is a B2B product data platform that helps suppliers and trade partners share catalogues, pricing, stock, images, and related data through a supplier workspace, partner portal, exports, and APIs.

Accounts and access

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
  • Supplier accounts control their catalog and which partners are invited. Partners only see data their supplier publishes to them.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring invited users comply with these terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security risk, or use the service unlawfully.

Supplier content and data

Suppliers retain ownership of product and business data they upload. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that data as needed to operate the service (including making it available to partners you authorise).

You warrant that you have the rights to upload content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown on our website or in your account. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.

We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with other users;
  • upload malware, unlawful content, or material that is defamatory or infringing;
  • scrape or overload the service except through documented APIs and fair use limits;
  • resell or sublicense the platform except as expressly allowed.

Intellectual property

We own the Tandem software, branding, and documentation. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will meet every business requirement or that data synced to third-party systems will be error-free. Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of catalog data they publish.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to that, InsideData Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data. Our total liability arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds (£100), except where a different limit is required by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify InsideData Ltd against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your misuse of the service, except where caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
